On Saturday 12th September Robert Taylor will be joining the annual Norfolk Churches Trust Charity Bike Ride, aiming to visit 25 different churches in one day. Robert is registered as Severely Sight Impaired, with only a small amount of peripheral vision remaining. Before this year, he had not ridden a bicycle in well over fifty years. That all changed in late May when he discovered that Vision Norfolk offered tandem cycling sessions with cyclists from the West Norfolk CTC.
Due to Vision Norfolk’s role in getting Robert back on the bike, The Norfolk Churches Trust have agreed that 40% of the money raised from Robert’s ride will go towards Vision Norfolk, with the remaining 60% going towards St Andrew’s Church in Little Massingham.
