See Norfolk Differently – The 26-Mile Challenge

Published: 27th August 2026

🥾 Saturday 10th October 2026 – 7am

This year, Vision Norfolk is celebrating an incredible 220 years of supporting people with sight loss in Norfolk – and we’re marking the occasion with a challenge!

Join us for See Norfolk Differently, a 26-mile sponsored walk along Marriott’s Way from Norwich to Aylsham.

Starting at 7am at Barn Road Roundabout in Norwich, we’ll follow Marriott’s Way through Drayton, Whitwell and Reepham, before finishing in Aylsham, opposite Bure Valley Railway Station.

Take on your challenge, your way!

Go the whole 26 miles and walk from Norwich to Aylsham or, if 26 miles sounds a little ambitious, join us for half the challenge, starting or finishing at Whitwell Station, around the halfway point. You can also join us for a shorter section of the route – we want as many people as possible to get involved.

Can you raise £220 for 220 years? We’re asking everyone taking part to aim to raise £220 in sponsorship to celebrate Vision Norfolk’s 220th anniversary. But £220 is a target, not a requirement. Every person who joins us and every pound raised will help Vision Norfolk continue supporting people with sight loss across Norfolk.

The challenge is open to service users, volunteers, staff, friends, family and members of the public – so get your walking shoes on and join us!
