Sailing Trips
Spending time around bodies of water, known as blue spaces, can have therapeutic benefits for both physical and mental well-being. We have teamed with local sailing experts to provide opportunities for local people living with sight to meet up and enjoy some of Norfolk’s beautiful waterfronts. Whether you’re already a sailing expert, or have never been out before, your are welcome to come give it a go. Please find further details below.
Snettisham
New in Summer 2025! Join Vision Norfolk and Snettisham Sailing Club for accessible sailing sessions. Sailors will be supported by trained volunteers.

Norwich
Come and enjoy an afternoon of boating on the Norfolk Broads with the Nancy Oldfield Trust. From April to October the group goes out sailing and during winter months they go out on an undercover motor cruiser.
Trips take place fortnightly on a Thursday. A minibus departs the Vision Norfolk Norwich Hub, Bradbury Activity Centre, Beckham Place, Edward Street, Norwich, NR3 3DZ at 12:30pm, returning around 5pm. The suggested donation to the Nancy Oldfield Trust is £20 payable on the day.
