We want to make sure everyone who uses our Norwich Hub can continue to reach us safely and with as little disruption as possible while the Anglia Square redevelopment is underway.
We know changes to parking and public transport can be stressful, particularly for people living with sight loss, so we are closely monitoring the situation and will keep sharing up-to-date information as it becomes available.
As part of the redevelopment of Anglia Square, travel to the Bradbury Activity Centre will be affected over the coming months.
Road Closure
As part of the redevelopment of Anglia Square we have been informed that there will be a partial road closure from 01/02/2026 until around 15/03/2026 affecting Magdalen Street and Edward Street. This includes the section of Magdalen Street from the Edward Street junction towards Norwich City Centre until until just before the St Crispins Road overpass. The junctions of Magdalen Street and Edward Street and Cowgate will be closed to traffic.
We have confirmed that Edward Street will be open up to Beckham Place, so there will be normal car access to the Norwich Hub on Beckham Place.
Buses
The buses will be disrupted during this road closure.

Parking
RCP Parking – Edward Street, the closest pay-and-display car park to the Norwich Hub has now closed
The closest alternative, which is currently open, is the RCP Parking – Broadside Warehouse, which is approximately 3 minute walk away. However this is due to close from midnight on Sunday 1st March.
The second closest alternative is Colegate Car Park which is approximately 8 minutes walk away.
We have a drop off and pick up point immediately outside the front door and we can reserve on-site parking for a limited number of wheelchair users if notified in advance.
We will continue to review parking and access arrangements and do everything we can to support safe and accessible travel for service users, staff, volunteers and visitors throughout the works.
