Activities For Children, Young People and Families

Tennis Session – Every Friday, 4:30pm-5:30pm

Ever fancied trying your hand at tennis and want to have a go. Now is your chance with a weekly inclusive session run by Tennis Able every Friday afternoon. This will be held at East Anglia Tennis & Squash Club (EATSC) on Lime Tree Road in Norwich. There is a £3 cost per session which is payable on the day and is aimed at those of ages 7-18.

Stay and Play at the Great Yarmouth Hub –  Monday 13th May, 11am – 12:30pm

Join our new sessions for preschoolers tailored to provide parent and carers with valuable support from paediatric eye health specialists, educational professionals, and play experts. Gain insights, advice, and access to resources including funding and benefits. It’s an opportunity for you and your child to connect with others with similar experiences.

Sessions take place on the 2nd Monday of each month from 11am until 12:30pm at the Vision Norfolk Great Yarmouth Hub, 12 Hall Quay, Great Yarmouth, NR30 1HP.

Church Farm – Tuesday 28th May, 10:30am

Church Farm has a Rare Breeds Centre (Farm Park) for animals, adventure playground, tractor rides, tea room and shop. This event are for those aged 0-11. If you would like to book onto this event, please do contact me and how many people will be attending. The address is Lynn Road, Stow Bardolph, Downham Market, PE34 3HT.

Stay and Play at the Norwich Hub –  Wednesday 29th May, 10:30am – 12pm

Join a Musical Keys Stay and Play session for preschoolers tailored to provide parent and carers with valuable support. It’s a great opportunity for you and your child to connect with others with similar experiences through play and music. At Vision Norfolk Norwich Hub, Bradbury Activity Centre, Beckham Place, Edward Street, Norwich NR3 3DZ.

Sailing – Friday 31st May, 4pm

This wonderful activity allows the children to take the helm of their sailing boat and have a go at steering and controlling the sails, or just sit back and watch the scenery go by. This is for one VI child and an accompanying adult. The address is Nancy Oldfield Trust, Irstead Road, Neatishead, Norwich, Norfolk, NR12 8BJ.

Milkshake Live at the Corn Exchange King’s Lynn –  Thursday 1st August, 3:30pm

Milkshake Live! Join your favourite Milkshake! friends on Holiday with Dora, Pip and Posey, Blue from Blues Clues and You!, Milo, Milkshake! Monkey plus two of your Milkshake! presenters for an all-new live adventure! This is being held at Kings Lynn Corn Exchange, Tuesday Market Place, King’s Lynn PE30 1JW. The performance is on the 1st August at 3:30pm. Spaces are very limited so initially there are two tickets available per family (1 Adult + 1 VI Child). If more tickets become available I will offer these out to other family members.
