Knitting

Get to know other people living with sight loss in a relaxed environment while creating homemade knitted goods. Whether you’re interested in picking up a new skill, are already a seasoned knitter, or are just in it for the chat, we would love for you to join us! It is free to take part and all supplies are provided.

Great Yarmouth

Join a representative from the Norfolk Knitters for Knit, Stitch and Natter. We will be learning together how to knit and stitch along with having a good natter and chance to meet new people. Please bring your own needlecraft project from home, or simply join us for another opportunity to work on your rug from our popular rug workshops, which take place on the last Friday of each month.

Sessions are on the second Thursday of each month from 1pm until 3pm at the Vision Norfolk Great Yarmouth Hub, 12 Hall Quay, Great Yarmouth NR30 1HP.

Please contact Catherine for more information on 01493 745973 or at [email protected].

King's Lynn

Whether you are a complete beginner who would like to take up knitting or a seasoned knitter, our monthly sessions in King’s Lynn are a fun and sociable way of getting together with fellow yarn fans. Vision Norfolk staff and volunteers are on hand to teach you the basics, or to help you rediscover your knitting confidence if it’s been a while since you picked up the needles. Needles and wool are provided or you can bring your own.

The sessions take place on the second Tuesday of each month from 1:30pm until 3:30pm at the Vision Norfolk King’s Lynn Hub, 20 Thoresby College, Queen Street, King’s Lynn, PE30 1HX. Tea, coffee and cake are provided.
