'Touching Turner' Workshop

Norwich

Norwich Castle Museum is inviting members of Vision Norfolk to a free ‘Touching Turner’ workshop inspired by their special exhibition ‘JMW Turner and changing visions of landscape’. This object-handling session will bring to life Turner’s painting ‘Walton Bridges’, which is at the heart of the exhibition. Learn about the painting’s history and discover different interpretations. You will then have the opportunity to visit the exhibition and explore different artists’ approach to landscape from the 17th century until today.

The workshop is on Tuesday 11th February from 10:30am until 12:30pm at Norwich Castle Museum.

The workshop is free, but you are welcome to make a donation to Vision Norfolk and/or Norwich Castle Museum if you wish.

Please book by Monday 3rd February by contacting contact Mark or Helen on 01603 573000 ext 341 or [email protected].

This workshop is part of the National Lottery Heritage Fund ‘Walton Bridges’ Activity Plan.
