Silver Wings: The US Army Air Forces in WWII Norfolk

Norwich

Come and join us at the Forum as we visit the American Library team for a special tour of the Silver Wings exhibition designed to be accessible for people living with sight loss. Meet the curator and learn about the behind-the-scenes process involved in exhibition making. We will explore the stories of local people and young Americans in WWII Norfolk and Norwich through stories, objects, and oral histories. A handling session will be available, and you can hear from people who were there, in their own words. There will be coffee and donuts to finish the event and a chance to share your own or your family stories of World War II.

The event is on Wednesday 17th September 2pm until 4pm in the American Librart in The Forum , Millennium Plain, Norwich NR2 1TF. Sessions are free to attend but donations are welcome.

Please book by 11th September by contacting Mark on 01603 573000 extension 341 or at [email protected]
