Our three community hubs are a base from which we provide our services. Everyone is welcome to gain information, advice and support from our hub staff, take part in social and wellbeing activities and to use our screen readers and specialist equipment. It is also used as a meeting venue for our team of staff and volunteers and for various activities.
Our hub team members provide one-to-one support and can assess the needs of those with any degree of sight loss to determine how best they can help and support them. We can provide support and access to equipment to help around the house, help you and your loved ones to develop strategies to adapt to daily life and signpost you to other services that may also be able to help. We will be there every step of the way and for as long as you need us.
We are largely operating on ‘an appointment only’ system to make the environment as safe as possible for visitors and our staff. To book an appointment, please call your local hub.
We also attend Merchants’ Place in Cromer every Tuesday 10am-1pm to offer a friendly drop-in service where we provide support and advice about equipment as well as activities for anyone with vision impairment in this area
