Writing Wednesday – Fabulous Fish by Bobs Beer

Throughout the month of September we will showcasing some of the work created by the Vision Norfolk Creative Writing Group.

To start we have the poem ‘Fabulous Fish’ by Bobs Beer.

Fabulous Fish

by Bobs Beer

Salt or fresh, big or small

Fish as creatures fascinate all.

At least once or twice a week

I eat fish, such a treat.

Sir David showed us the ocean’s bounty.

God forbid that they would empty.

Someone told me long ago

That eating fish helps our brains to grow.

Think of dolphins, just how clever

They find shoals of fish whatever the weather.

So Water Companies, get your act together.

Stop polluting our rivers forever.

All life needs the freedom to be,

Especially the fish in river and sea.
