Digital Inclusion Support for People with Sight Loss

Helping you feel confident, connected, and independent with digital technology.

From January 2026 Vision Norfolk is launching a new programme to support people with sight loss to gain digital skills in a friendly, practical, and accessible way. This project has been made possible due to funding from the Digital Inclusion Innovation Fund from The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.

What we are offering

✔ Drop-in sessions at our hubs and libraries

✔ Technology demonstration days

✔ One-to-one digital mentoring

✔ Support with smartphones, tablets, laptops, magnifiers, and accessible apps

✔ Help with setting up accessibility features on your device

✔ Volunteer support tailored to your individual goals

Who it’s for

Anyone with sight loss in Norfolk who wants to feel more confident using digital tools.

We are looking to recruit Digital Skills Volunteers to help deliver this vital project. No technical experience required – Just confidence in using digital technology, patience, enthusiasm, and a commitment to making a difference. Full training will be provided.
