From Sunday 30th August First Bus are making changes a number of their bus timetables across Norfolk.
Most of the changes will be affecting the Norwich area but they have also updated the timetable for the 2 & 3 Service in Great Yarmouth, which is the route taking people from Great Yarmouth to the James Paget Hospital. We’ve included the details of the changes below.

Route Updates from 30th August 2026
Turquoise Line - 13/X13
The Turquoise line is being stopped. Services 13 and X13 are replaced by the Green Line and Orange Line.
Green Line - 14, X14, 15 & 16
Green Line services are changing to include Attleborough, with new peak-time X14 journeys. Routes 15 and 16 will follow a revised route and will now serve Broadland Gate, replacing route 17.
Orange Line - 20 & 21
Orange Line services are extended to Spixworth to replace the Turquoise line. Journeys extending beyond Old Catton to Spixworth on Monday to Saturday will be renumbered to service 20, while route 21 continues to serve Fiddlewood.
Yellow Line - 28, 29, X29
Timetables are changing to improve reliability.
Purple Line - 36, 36A, 37, 38 &38A
Route 37 will terminate in the city centre, while route 38 extends to Mulbarton. A new 38A will provide links to Norwich Airport and the Aviation Academy.
Charcoal Line - 40, 41 & X41
Charcoal Line timetables have been updated.
Great Yarmouth - 2 & 3
The timetables for both services 2 and 3 have been revised.
