Vision Norfolk eye clinic support officer Aby Roberts at the Allies Eye Clinic in Cromer

Eye Clinic Liaison

Being diagnosed with sight loss can be a challenging moment. Our Eye Clinic Liaison Officers (ECLOs) are based at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, James Paget University Hospital and The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. They are here to help individuals to navigate the journey from diagnosis to independent living. They can provide emotional support, help with understanding clinical advice, and access to practical information and social services.

Our ECLOs can talk to you about your concerns and give you advice on how to reduce the impact your eye condition may have on your life, including benefits and help at work.  Patients do not have to be registered as sight impaired to use the service.
