Teenagers

As children grow and develop into teenagers, their wants and needs change. They are at the age where they want to go out with their friends and go shopping or to the cinema. For any parent or carer, this can be a daunting and difficult time but especially so for those who have a visually impaired child.

At Vision Norfolk, we offer sociable experiences, from a day out at the Harry Potter studios, a hands-on learning workshop or a game at the bowling alley. It is a safe space for them to try something new and have fun. It’s also a great way to meet and develop strong friendships with others living with a shared experience.
