Holme Hale Hall Visit

Norwich

Unfortunately bookings for this event are now closed.

We will be visiting Holme Hale Hall near Swaffham, the home of Simon Brook. It includes a walled kitchen garden designed by Arne Maynard and replanted in 2016/17. A soft palette of herbaceous plants including some unusual varieties, provide a long season of interest. Greenhouse, vegetables, trained fruits, roses and topiary. There’s 130 year old wisteria, wildlife friendly  wildflower meadow, a recently renovated island pond and historic listed buildings.

The visit will be taking place on Wednesday the 21st of June at Holme Hall Hale, Holme Hale, Thetford IP25 7ED. The minibus is leaving the Brabury Activity Centre, Beckham Place, Edward Street, Norwich NR3 3DZ at 12:15pm and returning around 5pm. Free transport and garden entrance but donations are welcome. Refreshments are £5 per person, cash only on the day.

Please book by Friday 9th June by contacting  Mark at 01603 573000 Ext. 341 or via email at [email protected].
