Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts

Norwich

Join us for a trip to the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Art for an audio described talk about the Living Area displays, including the Sainsbury Collection. Works from different periods and cultures are juxtaposed, including recognised masterpieces from European twentieth century art. Artists such as Pablo Picasso, Francis Bacon and Henry Moore are displayed alongside major holdings of art from Oceania, Africa, the Americas, and Asia, the ancient Mediterranean, classical cultures of Egypt, Greece and Rome, and Medieval Europe.

The trip is taking place on Wednesday 13th September from 10:30am-2:30pm with transportation from the Norwich Hub, Bradbury Activities Centre, Beckham Place, Edward Street, Norwich NR3 3DZ. Lunch is available to buy in the Modern Life Cafe. The trip is free but donations are welcome.
