Jubilee Arts Project

All the workshops have now taken place but you can still come experience the resulting art pieces at our exhibitions in Norwich, Great Yarmouth and King’s Lynn.

Norwich

Autumn Craft Session

Come down to the Norwich Hub to get creative. Learn how to make felt with Fiona and Tim, then work with Tim to create exciting collage pieces for the exhibition. You will have the opportunity to display pieces made during the workshops at an exhibition at The Forum on the 22nd November. You never know you might even sell your work!

The workshops will be taking place 2pm-4pm Monday 24th October, Monday 31st October, Thursday 3rd November and Thursday 10th November at the Norwich Hub, Beckham Place, Norwich, NR3 3DZ.

 

Autumn Cooking and Eating Session

Join Fiona and Tim at the Bradbury Activity Centre for a free cookery session. We will be making bread and scones. Feel free to bring your own fillings for your creations for lunch! Cooking skills not required – just some enthusiasm and the ability to have some fun.

The workshop will be taking place 10:30am-1:30pm Monday 7th November at the Norwich Hub, Beckham Place, Norwich, NR3 3DZ.

King’s Lynn

Come down to the King’s Lynn Hub to get creative. Run by local artists Fiona Muller and Alison Kramarchuk, the workshops will focus on creating tactile collages with textile. You will also get the opportunity to display some of your creations at an exhibition at The Workshop 19th November.

The workshops will be taking place on Tuesdays throughout October from 11am to 1pm at the King’s Lynn Hub at Unit 3, Dundee Court, Hamburg Way, King’s Lynn, PE30 2ND.

Great Yarmouth

Come down to the Great Yarmouth Hub to get creative. Run by local artist Tim Edwards, the workshops will initially focus on clay with the opportunity to learn different techniques and skills as the sessions progress. You will have the opportunity to display pieces made during the workshops at an exhibition at Skippings Gallery 15th-22nd November.

The workshops will be taking place Friday 7th, 14th, 21st October and 4th November from 1-3pm at the Great Yarmouth Hub at 12 Hall Quay, Great Yarmouth, NR30 1HP. There will also be a special drop in session on Saturday 12th November from 11am to 1pm attended by the Mayor of Great Yarmouth.
